 "This historical neon sign located in LGB, Long Beach California, represents what was once one of the finest airplanes builders in the world. Douglas, then Mac Donnell Douglas was absorbed by Boeing. There is almost nothing left there from this great aera, unfortunately. The last plane produced there was the MD-90, aka Boeing 717. Anyhow, the sign is there to stay, hopefully!"
